Sanam Hariri MD

Current Position: Researcher at the Digestive Diseases Research Institute (DDRI), Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran

Dr. Sanam Hariri earned her medical degree from the Medical University of Isfahan (MUI). Upon graduation, she joined the PERSIAN Cohort in 2018 as a member of the Educational Team, training interviewers on the completion of the General Questionnaire. As a research associate in DDRI, her research interests focus on viral hepatitis elimination among vulnerable populations. She is the coordinator and developer of the Hepatitis C Elimination Project in Rafsanjan, as a pilot city in Iran.

Prior to joining DDRI, she was involved in the CASPIAN-V study at the Research Institute for Primordial Prevention of Non-Communicable Disease, MUI, Isfahan, Iran.
