Prof. Walter Willett is a world-renowned physician and nutrition researcher. His research focuses on the relation of dietary factors to risk of cardiovascular disease, cancer, and other important health outcomes. Much of his effort has been in the development of methods for the collection and analysis of dietary information in epidemiologic studies. Methods developed by Prof. Willett have been applied in multiple large cohort studies including the Nurses' Health Study, Nurses' Health Study II, and Health Professional's Follow-up Study.
